Imaging

We have the ability to perform advanced diagnostic imaging such as MRI, CT
(CAT) scan, and Fluoroscopy, digital radiography, abdominal ultrasonography and
echocardiography.  

Anesthesia

Patients requiring anesthesia may be supported with intravenous or intraosseous
fluid therapy, convective heat, positive pressure mechanical ventilation, blood
pressure monitoring, cardiac monitors and a dedicated anesthesia technician.
thermostatically controlled incubators are used to house patients recovering from
surgical, endoscopic and other anesthetic procedures.  

Surgery

We can perform any surgical procedure necessary for small mammals, reptiles and
birds.   

Endoscopy

Endoscopic examination with rigid or flexible scopes for tracheoscopy, rhinoscopy,
coelomic examination and for obtaining biopsy specimens are routinely performed.
Otoendoscopy is also available to evaluate the oral cavity in small mammals as
well as the ears.  

Dentistry

Small mammal dental exams, tooth trims, extractions and surgical abscess
debridement are routinely performed.  Routine ultrasonic scaling and dental
prophylaxis for ferrets is offered as part of our comprehensive care package.
