Job Description:

OSVS is looking for experienced Veterinary Technicians to join our talented and passionate team of ER and Specialty veterinary professionals. OSVS has a very busy emergency service staffed by experienced emergency doctors. As a teaching hospital, OSVS has a nationally respected internship and residency program, and specialists in emergency/critical care, internal medicine, surgery, radiology, cardiology, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, and avian/exotic pet medicine. Specialized equipment includes MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, endoscopy, and advanced monitoring equipment.

Veterinary Technicians at OSVS work in a range of positions depending on their level of experience. Technicians perform triage and stabilization of emergency patients, perform diagnostics, care for and monitor inpatients, or develop long-term relationships with patients in specialty care. Training programs are in place to allow technicians to advance into highly skilled positions in the ICU, emergency service, and specialties, depending on their interests.
